It’s all about the Bingo CL’s
I play online bingo pretty much every day. Usually at the same site - BingoGang. It’s where my friends are playing bingo. But I’ll tell you what draws me to online bingo. It’s the CL’s. For instance, depending on what time of the day I’m playing, the CL will set my bingo mood.
The morning CL is sweet and talkative; she wakes me up pleasantly, without being obnoxious. As I get my coffee and sit down to play bingo, I can count on her to Say “Good Morning” to me using my bingo name. I can’t even count on my husband to do that much. I am gently eased into the bingo day. We talk about bingo, husbands, wives, kids, pets etc... She asks me how I’m doing and what I’m doing today, which is comforting to know that someone takes an interest. Then it’s prebuy my bingo cards and go to work. She tells me good bye and sends me off with a hb (hurry back) (Hurry back!) And xoxoxoxo (hugs and kisses).
Afternoon bingo is a bit different. The CL is witty and lively, (I call her the macro queen) as she flashes bingo specials and promotions. Again, my presence is acknowledged and I am greeted warmly. I have to be alert for the bingo chat game, and she does her best to keep me aware of what is happening in this and the next hour of bingo. She reminds me to buy bingo cards for the next game and for special bingo games to follow. I don’t get to play much bingo in the afternoon because of my work schedule. Again I must leave bingo for now and I am told to hurry back. I feel so loved.
Evening bingo is prime time. I am greeted with a pleasant hello and xoxoxoxo. The CL is lively and a plethora of information about the bingo chat game we are playing and the bingo specials at this time. Although she is very busy with whatever bingo chat game we are playing, she still finds time to joke with us and talk to each and every one of us. She cheers me on to bingo and makes me feel hopeful, like bingo is coming any second. It’s time for bed and although I may not have won a bingo, I leave with a feeling that I will be missed as the CL warmly wishes me sd (sweet dreams) and I am sent away with and abundance of xoxoxoxo.
So that’s what makes bingo worthwhile to me. Sure I like to win bingo just like any other player, but having my favorite CL’s there each and every day is something I can count on. Good Luck!

Smoking ban still applies to bingo halls
A Jefferson Circuit Court judge has stuck down a district court order that prohibited the Louisville Metro Health Department from enforcing the city’s old smoking ban in bingo halls.
A district judge had ruled in April that the bingo halls are private clubs and exempt from the ordinance.
But in a Dec. 28 ruling, Jefferson Circuit Judge W. Douglas Kemper ruled that District Judge Sheila Collins exceeded her authority in striking down the ordinance as it relates to bingo halls.
He ruled that state law only allowed her to determine if the Louisville Metro Code Enforcement Board of Appeals acted arbitrarily.
The Jefferson County Attorney’s office only obtained a copy of the Circuit Court order this week.
Kemper effectively ruled that if the bingo halls want to challenge the ordinance, they must file a separate suit in Jefferson Circuit Court.
Kemper remanded the case to district court and ordered the judge to make a finding as to whether the code enforcement board acted arbitrarily.
Whatever the final outcome of the case, it will probably not matter in July, when a new smoking ordinance takes effect that bans smoking in virtually every work place.
