Playing online bingo has many advantages. When you go to a bingo hall you have to wait in line to get bingo cards and pay for them up front. Then you have to wait in line for coffee or whatever beverage you choose. The flexibility is just not there. What is your bingo method? Do you prebuy the same amount of bingo cards for an hour or two or do you buy your bingo cards as each game is about to begin and then decide how many? Every bingo player has a different style when it comes to buying their cards. Which one works for you?
Let’s talk about prebuy or autobuy. When you have to go out, it’s always a good idea to prebuy your bingo cards. Prebuying cards allows you to choose a different amount of cards per game for 20 games maximum at Bingogang. If you are going to be gone a long time, it is always best to set your bingo cards on auto. Autobuy is a method by which you can set it and forget it. Set the amount of games you wish to play and the amount of cards for each bingo game. You can set autobuy for the night and go to bed. How nice it is to wake up in the morning to find your bingo account has grown while you were sleeping.
Buying bingo cards one game at a time is something I sometimes have the luxury to do. This is because when I am playing bingo, I really prefer to sit and watch my bingo cards. Also it gives me the flexibility to choose which bingo I want to play, and how many cards I want for that game. When I am home and able to use this method, I usually mix it up a bit. I’ll buy 10 cards for one bingo game and 6 for the next, and maybe 21 for the next and so on. There are certain bingo patterns I like a lot, and some that are not as appealing to me. I will tell you though that I always prebuy the top bingo games for the day and night before I go anywhere. For instance top of the morning, top of the day, and top of the evening. If I can afford it I also purchase cards for Top of the week and always TGIF (Thank God it’s Friday). These bingo pots are very large and definitely worth buying ahead of time.
One day before I left for work I prebought bingo cards for the TOM (top of the morning) game with my last 5 bingo bucks. I dragged myself home after a grueling day and sat down at the computer. When I checked my bingo account to see if my chat game bingo bucks had hit from the morning, I was shocked to find $750 there! It seems, not only had I won the TOM bingo game, but I won it in the amount of calls to hit the jackpot! Wowsa, what a wonderful surprise!
Needless to say that sure perked me up and I know that someday I’ll hit it again.
Whatever method you choose to buy your bingo cards doesn’t really matter. Because when it’s your time to hit the big one, it will surely happen. Good luck!

A Jefferson Circuit Court judge has stuck down a district court order that prohibited the Louisville Metro Health Department from enforcing the city’s old smoking ban in bingo halls.
A district judge had ruled in April that the bingo halls are private clubs and exempt from the ordinance.
But in a Dec. 28 ruling, Jefferson Circuit Judge W. Douglas Kemper ruled that District Judge Sheila Collins exceeded her authority in striking down the ordinance as it relates to bingo halls.
He ruled that state law only allowed her to determine if the Louisville Metro Code Enforcement Board of Appeals acted arbitrarily.
The Jefferson County Attorney’s office only obtained a copy of the Circuit Court order this week.
Kemper effectively ruled that if the bingo halls want to challenge the ordinance, they must file a separate suit in Jefferson Circuit Court.
Kemper remanded the case to district court and ordered the judge to make a finding as to whether the code enforcement board acted arbitrarily.
Whatever the final outcome of the case, it will probably not matter in July, when a new smoking ordinance takes effect that bans smoking in virtually every work place.
