Pay to play or Free Bingo?

Ok, so you have decided that you would like to try to play some bingo online because heck, everyone at work is so why not you. Now the decision is, “Do I pay to play bingo or do I play for free”? In this article, I will explain the differences as well as the pros and cons to both sides.

Free bingo online sites are popping up everywhere on the internet. Since the influx of online gaming in the last ten years, many new gaming businesses have started up. Often times, a new business will start out using a FREE game to lure in the players. Bingo is often times one of the largest draws for online gaming so most new businesses will deploy a free bingo game. Free bingo is exactly what it says. It is free to play but you do not win anything. A bingo player will sit down at their computer, log into their free bingo site, retrieve some bingo cards and just sit back and watch. If they happen to get bingo, their name will appear as the winner and the prize will read, $0.00. No pain, no gain. J Some free bingo sites however to reward you with tokens. The tokens, often times, can be saved and then used to enter drawings for free prizes such as little doohickeys, gift certificates and sometimes cash. Personally, I have never won a single thing in the drawings, but, I do know some have won something. It takes a lot of tokens and a great amount of luck. Free bingo, in my opinion, is good for one thing. Learning how to get around the world of online bingo. If you are new to online bingo, try some free bingo sites by typing the words, “Free Bingo” in your web search box. Be sure that the online bingo site that you are playing at is truly FREE and not a pay site trying to lure you in with the offer of a few free bucks to check them out. If you register with one of these “Lure” Companies, you will find yourself inundated with spam emails to come and deposit at their bingo site.

After you have played some online bingo at a free site, you will find it is time to move on to “pay to play” bingo. Pay to play bingo is a lot more exciting but it is also a lot more stressful when you do not win. In order to play at a “pay bingo site”, you will first need to make at deposit. At Bingogang, you will receive 100% matching deposit bonus on your first deposit and then every subsequent deposit you will receive the deposit bonus of the moment. Check the bingo chat room for further details on the deposit bonus of the moment. They typically range from 50%-200%. My advice is to start out small with a $25.00 deposit and you will receive $25.00 in bonus bucks as well. This will help you to get your feet wet. After your deposit is made, go into the bingo chat room as this is where you will surely receive the help that you need and you will make some new friends as well. You will notice on the bingo board that each game has a prize. Yes, pay to play pays real $$$ and at bingogang, you can also receive bonus bucks as part of the prize too!!!! Buy some cards, sit back and relax.

OK, so now you have tried free bingo, after winning a few games and maybe even winning a raffle, you decided to try pay to play bingo. You registered with Bingogang, made a deposit, bought some cards, went to chat, met some friends, won a game or two and have a good looking bank balance. Should I ask now, “Which do you like better?” I didn’t think so. J Have a great time and may the Bingo Force be with You.

Smoking ban still applies to bingo halls

A Jefferson Circuit Court judge has stuck down a district court order that prohibited the Louisville Metro Health Department from enforcing the city’s old smoking ban in bingo halls.

A district judge had ruled in April that the bingo halls are private clubs and exempt from the ordinance.

But in a Dec. 28 ruling, Jefferson Circuit Judge W. Douglas Kemper ruled that District Judge Sheila Collins exceeded her authority in striking down the ordinance as it relates to bingo halls.

He ruled that state law only allowed her to determine if the Louisville Metro Code Enforcement Board of Appeals acted arbitrarily.

The Jefferson County Attorney’s office only obtained a copy of the Circuit Court order this week.

Kemper effectively ruled that if the bingo halls want to challenge the ordinance, they must file a separate suit in Jefferson Circuit Court.

Kemper remanded the case to district court and ordered the judge to make a finding as to whether the code enforcement board acted arbitrarily.

Whatever the final outcome of the case, it will probably not matter in July, when a new smoking ordinance takes effect that bans smoking in virtually every work place.
