My favorite bingo patterns and chat games
Everyone who plays bingo whether it’s on line or land based bingo has a favorite pattern. There are so many bingo patterns on line to choose from. Some people prefer the blackout bingo pattern. Others prefer the short bingo patterns, like the number 1. I actually have 2 favorite bingo patterns, the diamond game and the coffee mug.
I like the diamond bingo game for a number of reasons. First, besides being pretty, there are a lot of numbers to call before someone gets a bingo. I feel like I have more of a chance of coming from behind and getting a bingo. It’s not as lengthy as a blackout bingo game, it’s just right. Also, at Bingogang, if you bingo on the diamond pattern in a certain number of calls you can win the super bingo pot, which is $500. Not too shabby, and I’ve seen it done there.
The coffee mug is also a good bingo pattern because again, it’s not as long as blackout bingo but it’s long enough to feel I’ve gotten my money’s worth. This is another bingo pattern I feel I can come from behind and win. Also I like coffee and I have a favorite mug that looks just like that bingo pattern. Again at Bingogang there is a chance to win the super which is $500 in the allotted number of bingo balls.
As far as bingo chat games go, I’d have to say my very favorite is the birthday bingo game. The first three bingo players to yell birthday win bingo bucks. This game keeps me alert and on my toes as I anxiously wait for all three of my birthday numbers to come out. I get to participate by yelling BDAY when they do and that makes it all the more fun. Another perk is that I can win bingo bucks to play with later just for being born. It’s also nice to be the first one to call BDAY, and I have two hours to do it, even if I don’t get a bingo, I can win something. Very rarely in the two hour birthday bingo chat game do I not get to yell Bday at least once. Sometimes my birthday numbers come out a few times, which is sweet.
Running a very close second is my second favorite bingo chat game lotto. I love lotto. You pick six lotto numbers, and if three or more of your numbers come out in the first 15 bingo balls called you win bingo bucks. If all your numbers come out in the first 15 calls you win the bingo bucks jackpot which is big. Also the nice thing about Bingogang is you can change your numbers any time you want before the next bingo game starts. So if my numbers are not coming out, I have the option to change them every game, I like that. I’m not locked in to the same numbers for hours. Another reason to like lotto at Bingogang is that if your numbers come out, you automatically get your bingo bucks right then and there. That’s fabulous! Then you can play more bingo games.

Smoking ban still applies to bingo halls
A Jefferson Circuit Court judge has stuck down a district court order that prohibited the Louisville Metro Health Department from enforcing the city’s old smoking ban in bingo halls.
A district judge had ruled in April that the bingo halls are private clubs and exempt from the ordinance.
But in a Dec. 28 ruling, Jefferson Circuit Judge W. Douglas Kemper ruled that District Judge Sheila Collins exceeded her authority in striking down the ordinance as it relates to bingo halls.
He ruled that state law only allowed her to determine if the Louisville Metro Code Enforcement Board of Appeals acted arbitrarily.
The Jefferson County Attorney’s office only obtained a copy of the Circuit Court order this week.
Kemper effectively ruled that if the bingo halls want to challenge the ordinance, they must file a separate suit in Jefferson Circuit Court.
Kemper remanded the case to district court and ordered the judge to make a finding as to whether the code enforcement board acted arbitrarily.
Whatever the final outcome of the case, it will probably not matter in July, when a new smoking ordinance takes effect that bans smoking in virtually every work place.
