One of the largest promotions at BingoGang is the “Power Games” The Power Games are special set prize games over the course of 3 or 4 days. The Super Bingo Games usually run for 10 games for a one hour time period with set bingo prizes of $250.00 - $1000.00 cash. Bingogang will usually offer packages to be sold for the weekend ranging in price and amount of cards to be played per game. There are usually 3 sized packages available for purchase and often times, if you buy one of the packages, you will receive one of the special power games nights cards FREE. Oh how I love that word FREE.

Another one of the promotions at Bingogang that you can usually find is the: 30 after the hour promotion. Often times these promotional games are run for the course of 2-3 weeks with big prizes at the end of the month. The prizes range from cruises, trips to Vegas, NASCAR races and HUGE amounts of cash. Often times bingo players will log into their account and prebuy the: 30 after the games even if they will not be home.

Another Key Event that many bingo players look for are any type of tournaments. Often times, Bingogang will run a special Sunday tournament from 10am-10pm on one of their side games such as Video Poker, Slots, Blackjack or Keno. Most times, the top 3 players that have won the most on one of the side games for the time period will win extra cash prizes.

If you are interested in other special chat games that play above and beyond the regularly scheduled chat games, then Key Events is where you want to check each week. The special chat games are usually played during prime time hours of 8pm-11pm in Bingo Central and 10pm-Midnight in the Blackout(BOB) room. The special chat games are usually ones that will reward bingo players more in bonus bucks or cash for the given time period. In the BOB room, KENO is a Key Event that is usually played once week. In the Bingo Central room, special Team Races is usually one of the weekly Key Events to watch out for.

Smoking ban still applies to bingo halls

A Jefferson Circuit Court judge has stuck down a district court order that prohibited the Louisville Metro Health Department from enforcing the city’s old smoking ban in bingo halls.

A district judge had ruled in April that the bingo halls are private clubs and exempt from the ordinance.

But in a Dec. 28 ruling, Jefferson Circuit Judge W. Douglas Kemper ruled that District Judge Sheila Collins exceeded her authority in striking down the ordinance as it relates to bingo halls.

He ruled that state law only allowed her to determine if the Louisville Metro Code Enforcement Board of Appeals acted arbitrarily.

The Jefferson County Attorney’s office only obtained a copy of the Circuit Court order this week.

Kemper effectively ruled that if the bingo halls want to challenge the ordinance, they must file a separate suit in Jefferson Circuit Court.

Kemper remanded the case to district court and ordered the judge to make a finding as to whether the code enforcement board acted arbitrarily.

Whatever the final outcome of the case, it will probably not matter in July, when a new smoking ordinance takes effect that bans smoking in virtually every work place.
